I’m 52 years old and I’ve been uninsured since 2015. I mostly rely on clinics and Emergency Room visits for my medical care. I have many unpaid medical bills as a result. To get medications and refills, I have to go without paying my bills until I can afford them. I have type 2 diabetes and have to take many medications. I also have neuropathy. I believe one of the benefits of receiving health coverage is being able to afford being seen at a larger-scale doctor visit.
