WATCH: Florida's Health Care Coverage Gap

Medicaid Expansion is long overdue in Florida.

The cost of health care, and especially prescription drugs, is taking a heavier and heavier toll on our families and neighbors. For the most vulnerable Floridians, Medicaid is only available to parents who earn less than 30% of the Federal Poverty Level (approx. $7,000 a year for a family of three).

If Florida adopts this common-sense solution, over 400,000 Floridians would gain health coverage while saving the state millions annually. The time to make this a reality is right now.
